Scott Harris

Guitars, Vocals

Scott knows basically nothing about music theory and is lucky when he knows what chord’s he’s playing. Having learned to play by ear and picking up everything he could from great guitar players that he’s jammed with, Scott has an extraordinary ability to put together catchy phrases and chord progressions with a pop music radio-friendly appeal. He has a hand in most of the original material that the Yesmen compose.

Having self-diagnosed himself with a slight case of A.D.D., Scott has played many instruments (drums, guitars, keyboards) at one time or another and has determined his strength to be the cowbell. “The cowbell is a highly underestimated instrument in rock music these days” Harris says in a recent edition of SMAG news.

One of the strongest believers in “The Force”, he helps channel the bands spiritual synergies that produces a show full of energy and great music. Influenced by many genres of music (too many bands to limit it to a list), Motown is his favorite and the Funk Brothers, in his opinion, were the best at creating it.

Scott has aspirations of becoming an astronaut and has a parcel of vacation property on The Gaza Strip where he plans on retiring and starting a small potato farm.
