Doug handles the overall sound of The YesMen and keeps them sounding good at every venue they play. An integral part of the whole mix, Doug keeps the bands sound contrast and dynamics humming along. Able to support a very diverse mix of music, he's always making the best of adjustments keeping the bands sound in control and energized. All things considered, this is quite a feat for a deaf man.

A master mixer of the recording studio board, Doug has embarked on the project of engineering and producing a new demo CD for the band that should be released shortly. After this feat is accomplished, he plans on engineering a new, improved original music CD to keep current with the band's original music direction.

Doug likes eating sushi in his spare time and has been known to plan his day entirely around his horoscope. He's a Scorpio, by the way. Doug enjoys writing music and playing instruments, but he really sucks, so he has been forced to fall back on his plan 'B' - running the board behind the scenes. He also enjoys spending a lot of quality time in the 'cave'. Retirement plans include, but are not limited to, living down by the sea... maybe near beautiful Lake Afghanistan or a more serene northern Michigan.
